Is the Distributor "fuel syncronized?" I remember when I had (still do)
timing problems, I turned the distributor and it caused it to kinda not pull
when you are first on the gas, but then after about 2500 RPMs, the engine
would feel much responsive for the RPMs would rise faster and all the good
stuff happens. Check that out. I used a scanner to adjust the distributor
to "0 degrees" I don't know how it's done, but the computer told me so and
it's gotta be right.

<< Hi all
I am having a problem with 88 3.9 it hesitates when starting to pullout
there are no codes and I replaced all the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel
filter, cleaned the tb, replaced the tbi sensor, and checked the timing. The
problem is still there and it won't go away. Anybody have any ideas? Oh yeah
it has 180k and this is the first sign of trouble.
