"Traction" bars really only keep the leaf springs from wrapping up under
hard acceleration. When the spring wraps and unloads, it causes the wheels
to "hop" on the pavement and it kills your traction and 60' times.
I don't know if it would help a 4wd unless you experience wheel hop.
