Jon Smith ran Autolites on a chasis dyno and reported some hp gains
at the rear wheel.

Based on this news I tried the Autolite 3923 (one range colder) at the track
in November (stock ignition) and have left them since. So far, I'm very
satisfied
with them ... no fouling with street driving as yet and idle is smooth. The
Autolite 3924 are the stock heat range. The books actually have them listed
to be used in the 5.9L engine and the Autolite 5224 (stock range) for the
5.2L engine.

I'll see how they look after a few months more of use.
