Lane, Here are my real world performance numbers. I have spent $100 bucks on
mods so far!! Truck wasn't even broken in yet, I run consistent low 14.90's
Slicks are coming for the springtime and exhaust!! Should put me in the
14.50'S!!

Hello folks.
This is my first post to the list. I just purchased a 2000 Dakota slt 4X4
with the 4.7 Magnum V8 and I gota tell you I Love it. I've been reading the
list for a few days and I'm glad to see all the posts about performance and
modifications.
I have a 2 cars that I drag race on the NMCA circuit and I plan on using the
new dodge as my tow vehicle for both cars. I just hope this new truck
doesn't end up like the rest of my vehicles with blowers and slicks on it
but it would probably be a pretty good candidate :) I hope to learn a lot
from this list and possibly even contribute a bit too.
Does anyone have any real world performance numbers like 0-60 and 1/4 mile
times for this truck? I know it feels pretty quick. Quicker then any truck I
have ever driven before. And it can leave some nice posi patches to :).
