in New York state the only law I'm aware of says there must be 4 inches of
ground clearance everywere on the vehicle or it wont pass safety inspection,
also there is a max on headlight height (36-40 inch) somewhere in there,
truck can be lifted 10 foot or more as long as headlights are not too high.
