I know this is kinda too late, but I would recommend getting a grill guard
for your truck. I ran into the back of some kid (slammed his breaks on for
no reason---currently under investigation) last week. I hit him at about 20
mph. I messed his pos car up pretty bad, and permantly locked the trunk.
My truck came out with a very slighty bent grill guard, a couple straches on
the guard and one broken 6x9 off-road light. Took me 20 miutes to realign
the guard and do some touch up painting. $40 for a new off-road light. The
grill guard cost me $169. I would say it is the best investment I've made
on the truck so far. Best of all, it saved my $400 fiberglass ram-air hood.
