Did you reset the computer and allow it time to readjust to the different
settings?

Honestly, it doesn't make any sense since all you're doing is lowering the
ambient temperature reading from 200+ degrees to about 120-130. (Yes...the
IAT reads 200+ on the average due to its location.)
