Well, 4X4 of the year is given by Petersons 4 Wheel and Off
Road. The Dakota won that in 1991. In 1997 the Dakota
sport was the Sport Truck of the year and the 1998 R/T won
that award in 1998. Pickup Truck/Four Wheeler of the year
is given out by Four Wheeler magazine, but now that I think
of it I think maybe the Durango was the Four Wheeler of the
year because it's a Sport Utility and the Dakota was the
Pickup Truck of the year, again don't know the year(s) on
that one.
