Maybe that guy was just a butthead, anyway.
I would like to speak in defense of the R/T owners that I know. None of us think
our trucks (or us!) are better than anybody elses. We all hang together.
In fact, we had a All Dakota bracket race at the 1/8 mile, which Geoffrey
Hackbart won in his V-6 CC auto!
We call him "R/T killer" now, since he was the only one of the 8 that didn't
drive one.
He beat us all, fair & square, and we give him 100% credit.
As a side note, there are a few 318 5 speeds that have spanked me every time I've
raced them. I never take ANY Dakota for granted. They're ALL faster than me,
until I find out otherwise. And they're all cool trucks, from pre mags to double
naughts.
