about the truck with 700 ft pounds of torque running 13's.....
what do u think it would run with 700hp?.........probly a little lower than
13s....hp is a measurement of torque under the constraints of a time
frame....the amount of work produced for a given amount of time....6000rpms
with the same torque out put vs
2500rpms with same amount of torque as the previous.....and since quarter
mile figures are based on time and not amont pulled (like a tractor
pull)....for racing purposes i'd take HP
