This is what i think. if you take a rt and a 4.7 dakota. both with the same
trip ( extra cab same options .....) the 4.7 will keep up with the 360 no
problem. of course when you add in mods than the difference can be felt.

had motors that made more power with stock parts than aftermarket. ive also
had cars make more power with differnet aftermarket parts. It all depends
on
how much you wanna spend and how fast you wanna go. im sure somebody can
make
a 4.7 with 400 hp easily. the question is how reliable will it be? same with

a 360 or a 318 or any motor for that matter. were driving daily drivers. im
sure we all would like to get to work in a John Force funny car or mabey a
nastruck ( id like that) but we all do what we can with what we got. I
havent
even started to mod my dakota. im still running the stock air filter for
gods sake
