But what about snow? The average snowfall here is 112" per year, with
at least 2 winters over 150" in the last 8 years. They dump a LOT of
salt & sand on the roads, and that salt is a nastier than anything
you'll find on the trail.
On the up side, it's pretty funny to see all the soccer-moms spun off
the road in their Grand Cherokees and Explorers because they went too
fast in the show, thinking they're invincible after pushing that 4WD
button. You'd think people who've lived here for 5, 10, 15 years would
have learned by now.
