The info from the original poster has been published in AutoLeak and a
couple of other mags, but according to the "team Viper" guys (i.e. the folks
at Chrysler who look after the Viper tech.) as well as dealers who attended
the Chryler dealer briefing, the new Viper will continue to be V10 powered.
Guess we'll have to wait and see...

To be accurate, the all new Viper will receive the 4.7 but bored out to a
5.4 and modified for a 420-440HP output. The 4.7 is more smoother than the
5.9 and still considered a better motor than the old Magnum engines.
