In Sport Truck magazine, the Quad Cab Dakota with 4.7 was faster than
the
single cab GMC 4.8 in both the quarter mile and the road test. You just
can't believe everything you read nowdays.....I guess....huh?

Yeah right. dude ive seen cars that were supposed to be in the 14 sec range and they ran slower or faster. like anything else there are variations. My dakota seems faster than the 2 others i drove. like i said the 4.8s i raced were just as fast as my dakota.
