I was at the Al & Eds in San Diego and they have a mini console with a
dropped down 6" DVD plasma screen for the back seat passenger. The DVD
player was under the seat. This would fit easily in a Dakota Club CB or QC.
The DC version of the mini console is 14" x 5"long and two compartment
(sunglasses and garage door opener) and mini computer (trip, compass, MPG
reading etc...).

What do these overhead consoles look like? I don't think i've seen one but
it does sound like an interesting idea. Are there any pictures of it
anywhere?
I have also been contemplating a console type unit on the floor in
front/between the (bench)seats. More for somewhere to put my cd changer, and
for some more storage space.
