The mini-overhead console (the one without the computer) is the OEM unit
that is on the assembly line. You can either see it in a Dak that came from
the factory with it or in the Y2K Dakota brochure from the dealer. I just
purchased the parts for it from my local Dodge dealer and will be installing
it myself.

What do these overhead consoles look like? I don't think i've seen one but
it does sound like an interesting idea. Are there any pictures of it
anywhere?

I have also been contemplating a console type unit on the floor in
front/between the (bench)seats. More for somewhere to put my cd changer, and

for some more storage space.
