Those who are R/T owners- if you have an R/T that supposed to the cheapest
gas (87 version) and it pings. Then using the 93 version and the pinging
stops, you have every right to take it back to the dealer to either fix the
problem or buy the car back. Misleading statement (which may cause an class
action law-suit from consumers) from DC will not go far and I am sure that
they will correct the problem.

Odd, My Dak has never pinged until I a few months ago I tried
some 87 octane from Texaco. Just bad gas because I never noticed
it until then. No pings at all with 89 or better octane.
