Jason and I would be very interested in this. We would prefer not to do
such a long drive in the winter though. But if they do approve a tour (even
in winter) count us in.

Warren Truck Assembly Plant (aka: Dodge City) is located on Mound Road
at 8-Mile Road. 8-Mile is the Detroit City limits. I drive by the place

a day to and from work.
Over a year ago I tried to set up a plant tour for a small group of DML
members.
I didn't get very far with this. At that time, authorized tours were few
and
far between and I could not get any help. I asked Eric to help from CTC but
I guess he didn't have any better luck than I did.
If you like, I will try again this month. I would probably need to know
about
how many people would attend and some kind of date.
Jon, how many members do we have now?
I don't personally know very many people at this complex. But I can give it
a try.
Of course, I could cut off their supply of axle assemblies and reduce them
to
building two-wheel trucks. But then again, that won't make us many friends.
