I dunno about the gasket, but I'm curious why your avoiding RTV? I've heard it
works great --have you heard something different?

Just curious, but did Chrysler use the 7.25 axle in any other different
vehicles, even as a rear end? My front axle is the Chrysler 7.25 and I would
like to try to find a front gasket for the diff cover. I know of the RTV
option, but would just like to find out if there would be a diff cover
gasket out there. Same goes for the rear Chrysler 8.25 on my Dak, are all
Chrysler 8.25 diff covers the same? I am fairly sure the 8.25 has been used
on other Dodge vehicles.
