Depends on who you go through. No matter what though, expect it to be a
lot. I got mine at 21, first time off my parents' policy, worked out to
about $1200/year. For an 18-year-old, it'd be higher. Strongly advise
you take a 6-hour defensive driving course, it'll be about a 10%
discount. And take it every 3 years to keep it going. Premiums also
depend on where you live and how far you drive to school/work. And an
R/T will cost more than a Sport, regular or SLT.

Once you've been driving 5 years (total), you'll probably get a drop in
price, and again when you leave the "super-high-risk" group at age 25),
and again if/when you get married.
