unfortunately I saw that last night was the first night when I got home at
8:30pm so I did not get to go out there.

Free beer? That's Bernds job :) Besides, nothing is free except my
hospitality, everyone is expected to bring something. That way nobody is
out of a lot of funds and we can all pitch in as a family to have a great
time.

I email'ed the place but no response as of yet. If I don't hear anything by
Monday I will call them during the day.

Just remember. There will be a cost to get in, but if you're with the
group, I might get us a discount.

I got two Ram's coming to the picnic too, a lady and her husband from work,
one is a 99 lowered, and a 95 lifted :)

Heather:

Did you go out there last night?!? This was the FIRST story on the
evening news!! I thought WT@?? This is drag racing not a taco festival.
Why is the news there? Anyhow, it turns out traffic was backed up for
three (3!!) hours getting in to the place. They never expected such a
turn out for opening night. I guess the owner never went to Alamo
Dragway. The shots they had on the news looked great; it looks like a
real nice facility.

Pit tent? Cool!!!! Seeing as how it was only 85 degrees yesterday with a
heat index of 80, a tent would be great!! This meet is sounding better
and better all the time! What's next, free beer?
