Re:truck doesn't stay started when cold HELP!

Had the exact same problem on my 97 during the 1st cold snap, and it was 3
dead cells in the battery! It's DEFINETLY the battery gone south, reason it
runs OK after warm-up is the battery is temorarily recharged to give the
computer OK juice. Once it's cold again, the voltage drops, and problem
resurfaces. Get the dealer to swap it out under warranty, and your problem's
solved.
