First thing I would not even own a CRAPPED out Miata. I remember the great
embarrassment when the Suzuki GTI rice rocket where out running the claimed
to fame MIATA SPORTS CAR (the car could not even be classified as a sports
car). More hype than facts. Now adding a turbocharger what a waste. It
was better for them to install the 351 Ford motor than the wanna-be- motor
from Mazda, which they do here in San Marcos, California.

I just a month ago participated in a Turbo install on a Mazda Miata. Stage
II with a big ass intercooler... now is putting 300 HP at the wheels. Very
fast....

I'd take a little 12PSI turbo over a little supercharger in a 4 banger any
day.

However... ( a little bit of cyl. envy here ) a SMALL supercharger on the
360.... would still tear up more pavement.

My 6er... while quite fun... lacks that 3 in the hundreds collumn. But in
snow/rain... I have traction. :)
