That person would've been me :) I was trying to probe him for more info
and at the same time told him about my "findings". I've received some
excellent advice/knowledge about this item and am tempted to take a chance
and buy it. However, my gut feeling tells me to leave well enough alone.
It's
not like I don't have other mods to spend the money on :)
To the seller's credit, he is thinking about cancelling this auction,
researching the product more and then relisting it. I doubt he actually does
it,
but it sounded good in my email.

Hehehe... This poor guy is all confused now! As described, this unit
should
fit the '97+ Kotas as they use the 29 spline 8.25" (8 1/4") Chrysler
Corporate
axle.
I wonder who -sorta- updated him?
