I buy mine from Nellcor, Puritan & Bennett the company that makes the stuff
and they told me that the Nitrous + , the outomotive grade has sulphur added
to it soley as a deterent to improper usage. The medical grade requires a
permit or license to purchase where as the Nitrous + with the sulphur added
is legal to sell to anyone. I also read that in a magazine some where.
I know I had a hell of a time buying even the Nitrous +, no one would sell it
to me. That is how I ended up buying directly from them. I buy from them but
they deliver it to a welding supply near me where I pick up and drop off the
bottles. The welding supply has nothing to do with it (by Choice) but will
allow them to send it along with their normal shipments for me to pick up jus
as a courtesy to the Company.
