G-TECH is on its way

This message is being sent out to everyone who has signed up for the
G-Tech Pro, as well as to the DML.

I have mailed the G-Tech out to the first person on the list today
(Wesley Beck). I butchered the packing from a box that I had a hard drive
shipped to me in once to fashion some packing materials. (When you get the
g-tech, I think you will agree that "butchered" is the proper term here...)
;-) At any rate, it should do a good job of protecting the g-tech.

Please be sure to let me know both when you receive the g-tech and when
you send it on to the next person on the list. You can do that either by
just sending me an e-mail, or filling out the small form near the top
of this URL:

  http://www.cs.fredonia.edu/~stei0302/www/dakota/resources/gtech/list.html

You'll also need to refer to the above URL to determine who you need
to mail the g-tech to.

When it comes time to mail out the g-tech, you may be able to re-use the
box it came in. If not, just go to the post ofice and get another priority
mail box. (They will give it to you for free). I don't know what the
exact number of the box is, but its about 8" square. Pull the
packaging out of the old box (including the little plastic air pockets
at the bottom), and transfer the packaging into the new box. You
should probably use plenty of packing tape to be sure its nice and
secure, then send if off to the next person. By the way, since it is
priority mail, it will be $3.20 regardless of where in the US you are
sending it. Plus, it should only take about 3 days to ship.

Oh, I almost forgot. I printed out the instruction booklet that
Bernd converted to PDF, and put it in the package as well. If the
instructions get too ratty, just go to the G-Tech page on the DML
home page to download and print out a fresh copy.

  Happy G-Teching! :-)
