My father had a meeting with the founders of the company today (probably
non-wiper-related business) and said they've had ahuge boom in business
the last 3 months. They're specializing in dealing with as many groups
like the DML and DOC as they can - it's terrific advertising and they've
sure earned repeat business from me. They're having trouble selling to
OEMs - my guess is that really high-quality stuff is nice for people who
care about getting more for their money (us) but OEMs want a product
that'll wear out so they get frequent repeat customers. The profit
isn't there, and OEMs don't want to hear about 5-year warranties.
