With 35's, you really should be looking at gears first...If you're going
from 30" tires to 35" tires, here's why:

(This shows the effective gear ratio and is working from a factory setup of
3.55:1 gears and 30" tires)

3.55:1 Gears & 35" tires = 3.04:1 (Not good...)
3.90:1 Gears & 35" tires = 3.34:1 (Little better)
4.10:1 Gears & 35" tires = 3.51:1 (This is what I use..except I have 32"
tires which puts is at 3.60:1)
4.56:1 Gears & 35" tires = 3.90:1 (Best for 50/50 street and offraod use)

With the 4.56:1 gears and 35" tires, you'll be running approximately 2100rpm
@ 70mph. The overdrive will put the effective at 3.15:1 with the 35" tires)

Putting more HP into the engine will also help get the truck moving, but at
the risk of breaking parts in the driveline. Again, get the gears
first...then everything else...especially with 35" tires. We just completed
my co-workers 1500 Ram Q/C 4x4 with a 5.5" Fabtech lift and 35" BFG K/O's.
Nice setup but his truck came with 3.55:1 gears. We asked a few shops and
they ALL recommended 4.56:1 gears. He mainly drives it to and from work
with some occasional offroad "romps" at Fort Hood or the local mud-hole.

I'm just looking for something that is going to help this truck turn over
35's.Putting this lift and bigger tires is going to put alot of strain on
the POS V-6 thats in my truck. I was just told that, along with gears, the
Kenne Bell, since it is low end, is the best way to go. But then again, I
have absolutely know idea about any of it. Thanks :)
