Agreed. By law (the waranty), you can take your truck to any Didge dealer....

However, they dont have to like it! What I mean by that:

I recently had my 98 Chevy Malibu in to a local dealer (not who I bought it
from) for a warranty item. They covered that ok......there was no way
they could get out of it....however, on a second item, because there was a
technicality, they decided not to take care of it.

I called GM to see what could be done, they sided with the dealer...GM also
gave me the advice of "Usually if youy take your car to the same dealer you
bought it from for regular service they are more likely to want to help you
out.".......

Uh huh.

Like many of you, I do most of my own service....oil, tuneup, rotate tires,
etc......So what that means is that I am being penalized for not paying
them $50.00 to rotate my tires every 5k miles......I havent found a dealer
yet that is worth their weight in salt.....
