My gas mileage has increased tremendously, from 11.5 MPG(when bought
new), 13 MPG(last month),now at 16.5(mostly city), after I get my tonno
installed i'm guessing a 1.5-2.0 increase over that. Only a K&N drop in
from a few weeks ago. Mostly drve at speeds 45+. I'm shooting for 18-19
MPG.
The stock sylvania bulbs suck big time(I'm sure we all know that already,
just here to remind)The first thing i did was re-aim them, becasue they
used to just plop right in front of the truck and everything around me
was dark. Then I re-aimed them only to realize that dead center in front
of me it was compleatly dark. I then went out and bought a pair of Pilot
simulated white beam halogen. BIG 25$ mistake. Now one of them is darker
than the other, and they look more yellow than the stock ones!
So, basically what I'm asking is what bulbs should I get? I want to get
away from anything risky(dont wanna melt my lamps) and it has to be
something affordable (less than $30), something bright. Any help???
