A few weeks ago the question was raised why some Dakotas have an
insulation pad on the hood. Sorry, if I missed the answer and this is
redundant, but what I was told today is that the insulation pad is
standard on the SLT only. It is not even an option for the Sport, but
can be purchased from the part dept. The price I was quoted was $50.60
for the pad and $1.40 each for the 13 clips needed to hold it in.
