By the EPA and everyone who "matters," yes. There's no "official"
category between compact and full-size.

The upside is, anytime Dodge says the Dakota is the largest, most
powerful, etc. in its class, it's considered the truth, even though it's
really in a class of its own. We may have competition in the power
department soon, though. My brother heard CHevy will make a V8 optional
on S10s for 2001 I think.
