After talking to my friend, he has a S-281 Saleen (99 version) with a Vortec
V-1 SC. I have seen his
Dyno ticket. You will never believe it: 485HP to the rear wheel. Now that
is a scary car to race
Against.

If it was an older 5.0, 3.23, 3.55, 3.70's or whatever they decided to put
in there (cone-posi was a good choice for them with 3.70's). He probably
either didn't downshift, didn't floor it totally, or didn't know how to
drive. Either way...hehehe...GO V6'ers!!

how come I didn't totally get creamed? i mean, he got about 4 car lengths
ahead of me over 100, but we both hit the gas at 50 and I was behind him so
he got the jump on it too. maybe these 5.0 mustangs aren't so bad on the
highway...?
