Yeah, Summits always had this handling fee but "free-shipping"... I just
figured it was their way to work around shipping costs so they can advertise
"free-shipping". Kinda lame, but the nice thing about it is it is a one-time
fee per order. So what I usually do is wait 'till I have a couple of things to
order so I "think" I'm getting a bigger bang for my buck...

In general I think Summit has pretty competitive pricing (even with the
handling-fee) and what's nice about them is they seem to have everything in
stock... Well, except for my locker but I was expecting that! ;-) I sure
don't mind not paying the sales tax either!

I just ordered a couple of items from Summit a day or two ago via
their web site, and there was a $6.95 handling fee. I could have had
them sent 2nd day air for $7 more. On top of the handling fee, they
also stuck me with another couple of dollars for a UPS "rural delivery"!?!!??

The funny thing is I don't recall ever being charged a handling fee
from Summit before. Maybe I just never noticed, or maybe this is something
new?
