Given identical motor, vehicle, track conditions, etc. there wont be that much of
a difference at least while at the dragstrip. And Jon, believe me - I'm not
trying to disagree w/everything you say 8-) Carb vs TBI vs SEFI are dang close
when the rpms are way up there - just look at the setups running within tenths of
each other at the track - way different fuel setups. Some squirt up high, some
squirt down low, and others just dribble 8-).
Now, at lower rpms especially while driving around town - you are right - MAJOR
difference in both power and fuel economy.
