I think the best speed I have done (though not the fastest), was in a friends
70 chevelle ss ragtop. spedo incorrectly showed 140 for a mile and a half
with the top down!!!!!! real speed was above 150 now that we have the spedo
calibrated. did this several times on a quiet access road to a new freeway.
