With the Cowl Hood, I've dropped 15 degrees under the hood from the stock
hood. It doesn't function like the old Cowl Induction Hoods (GM) but if you
remove the rubber flap(s) from the front of the radiator and leave the
driving light holes open, there's a nice breeze that flows under the hood.
(Tested that with bicycle streamers.)
As for the Ram-Air Hoods, they're really just Cold Air hoods. Don't get me
wrong, they look good and function very well as a Cold Air system, but the
Ram effect is almost impossible on our trucks. (Aerodynamics and Speed have
a lot to do with that.)
