Absolutely NOT, Reaction time has nothing to do with ET, Your time doesn't
start until you cross the Starting line (timing light). So, you could sit at
the line with out moving for an hour and still run a 16.204 sec. 1/4 mile.
The reaction time is the time it takes your car to trip the timing light
after the green light comes on, a .500 is perfect!!
Thats why it is possible to beat a guy thats running quicker times than you
if you beat him off the line. Your ticket may say 16.204 and the guy you
beat may be 15.80, but you won because he was sleeping at the light!!!
