hate to point this out to ya jim, but the old amc engines were not as good
as the new 4.0, the 304 produced the same torque and 20 less hp... the
noticeable gains in "balls" were probably in the rest of the drivetrain
(probably the T18 tranny) the 258 (4.2L) produced like 110hp and 180lb-ft
torque.
