Subject: DML: QuickD Question? sorry If I missed your calls..
I have been home, but I have been out working on the new 4.7 intake.
Woo hoo........is finally done. Well, its good enough. I have 4 of them
done.
The ones I have done were hand made by my dad and I. The full production
versions are going to have welded bungs, made by my pipe manufacturer. I am
going to send out the pics to all the people in my 4.7 folder hopefully
tonight............but realistically it will probably be in your emails by
the
morning.
I am Quick D, well actually my Durango is Quick D. I am not a big
company.......its just me. The company part only came about because I
needed
the license to get the parts made for me. I guess I am the CEO, Head of
sales,
production, advertising, testing.....and the head janitorial engineer.
I came up with the intake idea, and Dan came up and manufactures the TBs.
Hopefully in the future we will be manufacturing more parts.......we have a
few
products in the test phase......but they are still too tough to make in any
large #s.
If there is anyone that really needs to use their credit card, it is
probably
best if they call me in person, and we can arrange something. But in the
near
future, All Quick D products will be available from a fellow DMLers online
store. Still in the works.
I have to agree with that post earlier, 26-32hp from an intake is kinda hard
to
believe. Its kinda like saying I wont be hungry...........not likely. But
there has to be some fine print in there somewhere. Like when installed
along
with exhaust and headers. That might be believable.
anyway........stay warm out there.......and if anyone wants to talk to me
directly......just call me. I am almost always available.........as long as
I
am awake........then I love talking about trucks.
Talk to you soon........tony
310-371-1141
preferable after 9 30 pacific time...thanks.
I send out emails everynight til about 3 or 4am.........and they are not
just
sales. Most of them are questions, or from people that just want to talk
about
issues on their truck. Everyone thinks of me as a business....well,
okay.....but I would rather be thought of as a friend....I wish more of you
were
local, so you could come over.........have a beer with me in the garage and
help
me figure out the TB hat. Its driving me crazy.
