Maybe drilling and putting a fitting in the filler cap and running a hose
over to 'T' into the PCV line would solve the problem. It wouldn't be too
difficult to fabricate I wouldn't think.

hole, but you still have the pcv tube at the top side of the tube which would
suck air in through the hole.
If there is a TSB out then I bet the design will change for the 2001's thats
when they will have a fix.
