Opps, TBI engine. Not many cams to choose from. I suggest a single
profile cam. Duration of 216 to 224 at .050". 216 being minimum, and 224
being ideal. A lobe center of 114 is a safe number, or 112. Lift under
.500". This will give max power from about 1800/2000 up to 5500 or
so. Good all around power with a slightly rough idle. Without computer
mods, anything higher will make less power.
