Matt, congratulations on getting married AND unknowingly purchasing the best
supercharger in the world!
It's a little known fact that Kirby is actually the parent company of
Kenne-Bell superchargers. That floor suckin' puppy you just spent one and a
half grand on can add up to 150 horsepower to your Dakota! You'll have to
find the hidden "reverse" switch on your new Whipple-Kirby to discover all
this additional horsepower. Cut a big hole in your Dak's hood, get some
duct tape, and run the hose right to your throttle body. If you can find
the right belt from the Kirby store, you can bypass some of those horsepower
robbing pullies, and get another 6 pounds of boost! The only drawback to
this setup is that it takes a really long extension cord!
