Yes! That why a lot of guys were pushing about 650-750HP (back when) to the
flywheel and whole lost to the rear. Never crack the block or suffered any
burnt parts.

I think I remember reading somewhere that the big block 454 can be bored
over
a whole tenth?? That's alot of cubes....
