Last "Muddin" trip involved ruts as deep at 2' and some very thick, gooey
mud. Made it through without too many new "Texas Pinstripes". (Almost got
stuck but a tree branch under the rear tires solved that problem real
quick.) This summer is the Kileen "Offroad Challenge". (Yes Jon Neff,
we're still on for this.) ;)

Subject: DML: where can u go in 4wd

I took the dak out 4 wheeling today, got in some deep rutted stuff, it was
a
gooey clay type mud about 3-6" deep before some solid ground was available i
was going through ruts made by mostly by trucks with 35" or larger tires and
kept dragging so i had to stick to smaller ATV trails. I knew the dak sat
low
but wow i was really suprised how much it drug and how many times i lifted a
front wheel, i decided not to go on the deeper more heavily rutted section
of
the trail because of this, the tires were able to stay clean with a small
ammount of spin but with both diffs acting like plows i didnt think i could
make it. With a decent ammount of groung clearance i would have had no
trouble, I want to know where you all have taken your daks and what kind of
mods you have, Thanx
