Ok, out of 20 auto part stores, only 4 carry the part or can get the part. I
told them I was looking for the 'outer pass. side cv boot'.
*Pep Boys:...................................$19 for the 'outer boot kit'
*Napa:.........................................$21.49
*A local store:..............................$19
*Local Dodge Dealership.............$34.95
Should I go with the dealer part and pay alittle extra? I mean the factory
boot lasted me for 118,000 miles and I dont want to buy a cheap-o,
one-size-fits-all cv boot. Or are all cv boots going to be built the same
and have the same thickness of rubber and hold up as well/as good?? Help me
out here!!!! I need to call the dealer by noon so he can order me the part
if this is what I decide to get; the part takes 2 days to get in. I assume
that the cv boots come with 2 new clamps, is this correct? Also, how much cv
boot grease should I buy to do this job so I have enough? THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
