Steve,
    You gotta be kidding me. Your bench meet analogy doesnt apply. Your
analogy assumes both are in proper "shape", liken this to "modified." The
5.9 is pretty much old school technology as opposed to the 4.7, which is a
great engine, imo. However, I dont know much about it. It might not take
to mods as well as the 5.9. Who knows? I don't.
    I think the S2000 is a good example of this. Nicely built car, nicely
built engine but they've squeezed it dry.
