Re: Gas Out

One of gas stations I used to frequent increased their price by 10 cents
per gallon over the course of 3 or 4 days. Every time I drove by (twice
a day), it was higher. Amazingly enough, Mobil ISN'T the most expensive
around here anymore (they used to be at least 2-3 cents a gallon more
than anyone else).

How effective is a "gas out," really? Everyone obviously makes a run
for the pumps the day before, so the oil companies get their money
anyway. I plan on doing it, just as I don't buy from Amazon.com
anymore, but I really wonder how much good either really does.
