I was out this morning buying a case of oil and some oil filters and looked
at a can of 'Engine Restore', just to read what it had to say. I didnt buy
it, cause I just dont put anything other than Castrol 10W30 in my truck's
engine. I have seen it on the shelves for years now, just never bought any.
It is the silver can with the old style 'beer tab' ontop. Supposed to fill
the scratches in the cylinder walls and 'restore' compression. Does it work?
Anyone currently use it?

All it does is thicken your oil to help it not use as much on tired engines
and yes I suppose it would restore some lost compression (1/1,000,000.) of a
% but all and all its just STP .
