I've had a Lund screen front for 6 years now and no problems. At first, I
took it off on hot days (100+); but stopped cause there was no change in
engine temp at all. The tranny gets cooled up there to, but there is no
gauge to see if there is a tranny temp difference with the screen front
on. If you tow it might make sense to remove it for that (just in case).

If you have a dark colored dak, painting it to match looks really sharp.
